Students and teachers at Fatumaca Elementary School now have cleaner and safer toilet facilities after a recent renovation. The improvements are benefiting 170 students and 13 teachers, supporting their health, comfort and wellbeing, making the school a more comfortable place to learn and work.
The work included new toilet doors, new toilet units, wash basins and fresh paint on the walls. These upgrades have turned facilities that were worn and in need of repair into spaces the school can use properly every day.
Good sanitation facilities play an important role in creating a positive learning environment. With improved privacy, better hygiene amenities and more comfortable facilities, students are better able to focus on their studies, while teachers benefit from a healthier and more pleasant workplace.
