Child Safeguarding
Salesian Missions Australia is committed to the absolute right of a child’s safety, free from abuse and exploitation. It is committed to creating and maintaining an environment which promotes its core values and recognises that all children and young people have equal rights to protection.
Salesian Mission Australia’s overseas partners compliance to the Child Safeguarding Policy is mandatory and is communicated to all stakeholders.
Whistleblowing
Salesian Missions Australia is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and a signatory to its Code of Conduct. If you believe Salesian Mission Australia has breached the ACFID Code of Conduct, you can lodge a complaint via ACFID’s website https://acfid.asn.au/code-of-conduct/complaints/
Feedback and Complaints
At Salesian Missions Australia we welcome feedback to improve the way we operate and to help us to achieve better outcomes in the communities in which we work. We encourage our supporters, partners, various internal and external stakeholders both in Australia and overseas to share feedback with us including complaints and concerns.
